Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery

Bill Cotching’s works will be displayed in a Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery exhibition titled ‘Acceptance’.
The exhibit is a stunning visual display of ceramics ranging from sculptures to vases designed to reflect Tasmania’s natural elements.

It’s an honour for me to be able to showcase my work in a place I have visited so often and been inspired by. The Tasmanian landscape inherently shapes my works. I find comfort knowing this breathtaking island has been here long before we were, and yet it is also rapidly changing with the modern world.
Every piece I create is the product of this earth, they come out of the firing process different each time. I have to surrender control over my art to the earth and accept it in its final form.”
Says Bill.
